| Our light weight product is a cement based material using sand,VERMICULITE and METAKOLIN as an aggregate with fibers for strength. In order to bond and make the mix flow Nextium is used. The resulting material is a cement product that looks and feels like cast stone. Colors and casts like cast stone but cuts like wood. Best of all it is 45% to 55% lighter in weight then cast stone. our extended tests have returned with findings of Flexural Strength=40 days 550 PSI and Comprehensive Strength= 40 days 2500 to 3000 PSI. The resulting product can be handled, shipped and installed much easier then conventional cast stone. This brings the savings in the most important areas of manufacturing labor, shipping labor and freight and installation labor. |
